Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ'S

We recommend that you groom your pet at least once every 4 weeks however if they are full time indoor pets you could groom them more frequently

If your dog isn’t groomed often, they are at risk of attracting ticks or fleas which is a health risk for them and you. Their coats could also lead to excessive shedding or loss of hair and could lead to itchy skin which could cause them to hurt themselves.

Having your pup groomed at least after their first vaccine shots would get them used to the experience.

We strongly recommend that you don’t allow the weather to dictate the grooming cycles for your Furkids because grooming regularly is in the best interest for your pet’s general health.

At Sparkly Paws we have geysers installed to ensure that we keep your pet warm and comfortable.

We provide pet friendly shampoo that is conducive to sensitive skin.

If you have your own shampoo that you prefer to use, we can gladly accommodate you.

Ensuring your pets receives the right attention, an effective grooming session could take between 30-45 minutes depending on size, bread or coat.

Our mobile spa is wiped down with pet friendly sanitizer after each groom and we apply disinfected liquid to all our grooming equipment.

We recommend that you clip your dog’s nails each time you groom or keep it to a minimum of every 4 weeks.

If not managed, your dog’s nails could become too long which could cause discomfort when they walk or could break and cause injury.
